The Colour Corner is a welcoming art studio in Wetherby founded by Kimberley, a passionate advocate for artistic expression and learning.

The studio offers after-school, weekend and holiday sessions for children aged 5 to 12 years, with tailored approaches for different age groups. Younger children (5-8) work in a non-assessment environment to build confidence and comfort with creative expression, while older children (9-12) focus on skill development and more complex projects with greater independence. The studio provides access to a wide range of artistic techniques and mediums including painting, printing, clay, sculpture and textiles.

Sessions are structured yet flexible, creating a calm and safe environment where children can explore their creativity and develop new skills. The studio also offers specialist 1:1 and SEND sessions tailored to individual needs, holiday club activities, home education sessions, and birthday parties. All sessions take place in a warm, welcoming space designed to help children express themselves through art.

What to bring

Old clothes, an apron or protective clothing as children will work with paints, pastels and other art materials
A water bottle to keep children hydrated during the session
A change bag or carrier for artwork to take home
Any specific materials requested by the studio in advance
