Razzamataz Theatre Schools in Leeds offers weekly drama, singing and dance classes for children and young people aged 0 to 18. Based at the Community School on Carr Manor Road in Moortown, it is part of a well-established national network that has been running since 2000 and was famously featured on BBC's Dragons' Den.
Classes are grouped by age, from Tiny Tots for the very young right through to Seniors for older teens, so children are always working alongside others at a similar stage. The focus is on building confidence, creativity and teamwork, with students working towards performances and productions that give them a real sense of achievement. It is a good fit for children who enjoy being on stage or who are a bit shy and could do with a confidence boost in a supportive, social setting. Free taster sessions are available, which makes it easy to try before you commit.
