Performing Arts Lessons

Footlights Bury is a stage school where children can learn acting, singing and dance. Classes run on Saturdays and Thursdays at Hazelwood High School, with an additional Monday acting school at St Ann's in Tottington. The school caters for ages from 3 years up to 18, with different class times depending on age group. The teaching team are experienced performers and educators. They focus on building confidence and social skills alongside performance technique, helping children develop expressiveness and teamwork. Your child will work towards a full-scale summer show where family and friends can watch their progress, with written feedback provided at Easter.

There's also the option to take LAMDA exams if you'd like formal qualifications. Footlights emphasises inclusivity and creating a supportive environment where children of all abilities can thrive. All staff have DBS clearance and a trained first aider is on site. The school offers free trials so you can see if it's the right fit for your child.
