The Music Shed is a community-focused music school located on the upper floor of Eccles Congregational Church, offering private tuition in a range of instruments including guitar, piano, drums, bass, vocals, saxophone, clarinet and ukulele. The school caters to all ages and abilities, from complete beginners aged 5 and upwards through to advanced students seeking to improve existing skills. With a team of dedicated tutors and three dedicated learning studios, the school provides tailored instruction in a welcoming environment.

Beyond individual lessons, The Music Shed offers band workshops, music theory tuition, exam preparation with a 100% pass rate, and performance opportunities through showcases and local music festivals. The school also specialises in SEN and sensory support lessons, working with each student to individualise their learning experience.

A comfortable waiting area allows parents to remain on-site during lessons, with free WiFi and onsite parking available.

What to bring

Your child's own instrument if they have one (especially guitars, violins or woodwind instruments they are familiar with)
A notebook to record practice notes and feedback from the teacher
Drumsticks if your child is taking drum lessons
Water bottle to stay hydrated during the session
Any learning materials provided by the teacher from previous weeks
