Fletcher Moss Botanical Garden is a peaceful green space in Didsbury that offers families a lovely escape for exploring seasonal plantings, woodland walks and open spaces. The garden features a rockery area with interesting plants, colourful flower beds and plenty of natural wildlife to spot, from butterflies and bees to the occasional terrapin if you're lucky.

There's a cafe on site where you can grab refreshments, and open fields at the back of the park are great for letting children run around. The garden is particularly beautiful in spring and summer when the plants are at their most colourful, though it's worth visiting throughout the year.

Parents with younger children will find the peaceful, well-maintained grounds ideal for a relaxed outing, whilst older kids can enjoy exploring the different garden zones and spotting wildlife.
