Hollyhedge Park Childs Pĺay Area

Hollyhedge Park's children's play area sits within a large, open park in Wythenshawe that has plenty going on beyond the playground itself. Alongside the play equipment, the wider park has a cricket pitch, football ground, basketball court, and a skating area, so there's something to keep older kids and teenagers busy too.

The play area itself is best suited to younger children, with a climbing frame and slide that tend to be a hit with the little ones. The park is wheelchair accessible, and the open, spacious grounds make it easy to get around with a pushchair.

Worth knowing before you visit: there are no toilets on site, so it's worth planning ahead. The park can get litter build-up at busy times, but on a good day it's well kept and a genuinely pleasant spot for an hour or two outdoors. Dogs are very welcome here as well, so feel free to bring the family pet along.
