About this place
Archie's Atomic is a roller skating and entertainment venue at Trafford Palazzo in Manchester, built around a 5,000 square foot all-pink roller rink that caters to all skill levels. Alongside the rink you'll find a SEGA arcade, an immersive multiplayer arena game called Volt in The Vault, and Archie's Diner serving smash burgers, loaded sides, and milkshakes. The atmosphere is lively, with DJs spinning tracks from across the decades.
Skating is for ages 6 and up, and children under 14 need a supervising adult with them. Safety equipment including helmets, knee pads, and elbow pads is available free of charge on request, and skating marshals are on the rink throughout to help anyone who needs it. Walk-ins are welcome for general skate sessions, though booking ahead is recommended to avoid disappointment.
Birthday parties are well catered for, with two packages available: the Lil-Roller for ages 6 to 12 from £15 per person, and the Hi-Roller for ages 12 and up from £20 per person. Both include food, drinks, skates, safety equipment, a rink-side seating area, a party host, and a one-hour skate session. Party bookings need to be confirmed and paid at least three working days in advance.
The venue is open from 11am on weekdays and from 10am at weekends, with later closing on Fridays and Saturdays. It has a wheelchair-accessible entrance, and the restaurant, shake bar, and arcade are all free to enter and open to all ages, so there's plenty to keep non-skaters happy too.
