About this place
Adventure Forest is a family-run indoor play centre in Trafford Park, set up by two sisters with the aim of making somewhere genuinely fun for kids while giving adults a proper place to relax. The play area includes a football pitch, a mini quad track and a dedicated toddler zone, plus there's a "build your own bear" activity that younger ones tend to absolutely love. It's the kind of place where you'll have to prise a three-year-old away when it's time for a drink.
The café is a real step above the usual soft play fare, with fresh homemade food and cakes rather than the standard reheated offerings. Birthday parties are well catered for with private party rooms and attentive hosts who look after the children and take the stress off parents, including handling allergy requirements carefully. It's worth knowing that entry sits at the pricier end compared to other soft plays in the area, though most families feel it's worth it.
On the first Sunday of every month, the centre closes to the general public from 9:15am to 11:15am for dedicated autism-friendly and additional needs sessions, giving children a low-stimulus environment and a quiet chill-out space if needed. Little Bears mornings run separately for pre-school children, with toys, crafts and singing. The centre has a wheelchair-accessible entrance and is open every day except 24–26 December and 1 January, with extended hours at weekends and during school holidays.
