Everyman Manchester St. John's is a luxury cinema tucked inside the ABC Building on Quay Street, right in the city centre. There are three boutique screens fitted with plush sofas and armchairs, a Spielburger kitchen turning out handcrafted pizzas, burgers, sharing plates and decadent desserts, and a retro-style bar with velvet seating serving cocktails, craft beers and fine wines. In-seat waiter service ties it all together, so you can order food and drinks without leaving your sofa.
The screens themselves are well equipped, with Sony 4K or NEC Laser projection, Dolby 7.1 digital sound and hearing assist capabilities across all three. Screen 3 also has RealD 3D. Beyond standard showings, there are regular Baby Club and Toddler Club screenings, which makes it genuinely worth knowing about if you have little ones in tow.
The venue has full step-free access, with a lift from both street entrances up to the bar and Screen 3, plus an additional platform lift to Screens 1 and 2. Wheelchair spaces are available in all three screens. The entrance is through a gallery off Quay Street, so look up for the Everyman sign above the gallery door or you might walk straight past it. The cinema is open daily from 10am.
Check the venue website for tickets, opening times and updates.
