Taste:BD is Bradford's annual food and drink festival, held in the open air at Centenary Square in the heart of the city centre. It brings together local producers, street food traders, restaurants and independent makers for a weekend of eating, drinking and discovering what the Bradford food scene has to offer.
You can expect a good mix of stalls covering all sorts of cuisines and flavours, alongside drinks from local breweries and producers. There are usually live cooking demonstrations and entertainment running throughout, making it a decent day out even if you are not planning to spend much.
The festival takes place outdoors in Centenary Square, so it is worth keeping an eye on the weather and dressing accordingly. The square is easy to reach by public transport and is right in the city centre, which makes it straightforward to get to with kids in tow.
It tends to suit families who enjoy trying different foods together, as well as anyone who wants to support local Bradford businesses.
