This clay workshop at The Little Biscuit in Morley takes its inspiration from the much-loved Jelly-Cat soft toy range, so if your little one has a favourite bunny or bashful bear, this is a pretty special way to bring that into something handmade. It runs at the studio on High Street, a creative space that does pottery painting, craft workshops and all sorts of hands-on sessions for families.
The workshop is run in the studio's ground-floor space, which seats up to 36 people, so it's a relaxed, accessible setting. Dates come up periodically throughout the year, so it's worth keeping an eye out if you miss one sitting.
This kind of session suits children who are into crafting and making things with their hands, and it works well as a treat or a low-key activity for a school holiday. The studio has a warm, unhurried feel to it, and the team are used to working with families of all ages.
6pm – 8pm
Prices start at £5 for various sessions including pottery painting (2 hours), weekly adults only, kids parties, and baby prints.
