Code Ninjas is a coding and STEM education programme that teaches children programming skills through hands-on, game-based learning. Children progress through a belt system similar to martial arts, earning advancement as they complete coding challenges and projects.

The curriculum covers multiple programming languages including Python, JavaScript, and visual block coding, delivered through Code Ninjas' proprietary IMPACT platform which provides personalised learning tracks and live feedback on progress. Sessions combine guided instruction with independent problem-solving, allowing children to build real coding projects such as video games whilst developing critical thinking, logical reasoning, and creative problem-solving skills.

The programme is designed for beginners through to more advanced learners, with experienced Code Senseis supporting each child's individual learning journey.

What to bring

Comfortable clothes suitable for sitting at a computer workstation
A water bottle to stay hydrated during the session
Any prescribed glasses or visual aids needed for screen work
A notebook and pen if your child likes to take notes or sketch ideas
A positive attitude towards trying new challenges

What to expect

Individual work at a computer station on a personalised coding project matched to your child's current belt level
Mix of guided instruction from a Code Sensei and independent problem-solving time
Building a real coding project such as a video game or interactive programme during the session
Live feedback on your child's code and progress through the belt advancement system
Opportunity to demonstrate and discuss what they have created by the end of the session
