During these sessions, young children are encouraged to explore natural materials including mud, water, sand and leaves in a safe, supervised outdoor environment.
The activity is led by experienced practitioners who support early development through hands-on sensory play and free exploration, with parents and carers actively involved throughout. The relaxed, informal atmosphere allows babies and toddlers to develop confidence, motor skills and curiosity about the natural world at their own pace.
What to bring
- Complete change of clothes for your child, including spare socks and underwear
- Nappies, wipes and a changing mat or cloth
- Waterproof jacket or rain cover for outdoor conditions
- Wellies or waterproof footwear with good grip
- A large towel or blanket for drying off and sitting on
