Trick or Treat Street 2026

Trick or Treat Street is a live, theatrical Halloween whodunnit set in the fictional village of Denville, running from 24th to 31st October 2026 (closed Monday 26th October), open 11am to 8pm each day. The whole family steps into the story together, meeting professional live actors, following clues and working out who is behind the mystery. It is spooky rather than scary, so younger children who enjoy Halloween fun without full-on frights will feel right at home.

Your ticket covers a lot of ground: the live mystery experience with your own investigation booklet, trick-or-treating with sweets to collect, the Monster Disco with a live DJ, Boneyard Dig, The Maze, Ghoul School, a Stained Glass Window Workshop and the Fancy Dress Competition. The mystery session itself lasts around 45 minutes to an hour, but the team recommends setting aside three to four hours to take in everything Denville has to offer. Street food, seasonal treats and drinks are available to buy separately throughout the event, and fairground rides are on site at an extra cost.

Tickets are £21.95 for adults and £24.95 for children, plus a 75p booking fee per ticket, and all visits must be booked in advance as popular sessions are expected to sell out. When you book, you choose a specific time slot for the mystery, and the advice is to arrive at least 30 minutes beforehand. If plans change, you can move your booking to another available date for a small administration fee.

It is a fully outdoor event on natural paths and uneven ground, so dress for an autumn evening and wear sensible footwear. Pushchairs are welcome, though an off-road or all-terrain model will make things easier. Accessible toilets and baby changing facilities are available on site. Note that a Trick or Treat Street ticket does not include entry to William's Den Adventure Play, which runs separately on the same site and requires its own ticket.
