About this event
The Summer Fun Day at Leeds Irish Centre on York Road is a free family event running from 12:30pm to 5:00pm on 2nd August 2026, timed to coincide with Yorkshire Day. It is a proper community get-together with something for all ages, and the fact that it costs nothing to get through the door makes it an easy one to say yes to.
On the day you can expect inflatables, donkey rides, face painting, a BBQ, and an ice cream van, plus a raffle and tombola if you fancy your luck. There is also a bar on site, so the grown-ups are well catered for while the kids run off some energy. Leeds Irish Centre is a well-established community venue on York Road in LS9, easy to find and with plenty going on inside and out.
This kind of event suits families with children of all ages, from little ones who will love the inflatables and face painting to older kids who will make the most of the full afternoon of activities.
