About this event
The Pumpkin Festival at Lineham Farm is now in its third year, and after selling out last year, it's returning across three days this October half-term: Thursday 29th, Friday 30th and Saturday 31st October 2026. It's a charity event run by Leeds Children's Charity, so every ticket you buy goes towards supporting children across Leeds who are growing up in poverty or facing difficult circumstances. Sessions run from 10am to 12pm or 12pm to 2pm, with limited spaces in each, so it's worth booking early.
Your ticket covers a good spread of activities. There's pick-your-own pumpkin from the patch to take home, the Wicked Woods Trick or Treat Trail through the autumn woodland, spooky storytelling, Halloween crafts, and a wand-making workshop where kids choose their own decorations and take their creation home. Face painting is also on offer if your little ones want to go full witch or monster.
On top of the included activities, there's a farm shop stocked with autumn goodies and a food and drink area serving hot chocolate and seasonal snacks, which is very welcome on a chilly October morning. Dogs are not permitted on site (assistance dogs excepted), so it's worth leaving yours at home.
This one suits families with younger children particularly well. The farm setting just outside Leeds gives it a proper countryside feel, and the mix of outdoor trails and indoor crafts means there's something to keep everyone busy whatever the weather.
