Picnic in the park

The Safe Mum Space is hosting a relaxed community picnic at West End Park in Cleckheaton on 29th July 2026. Open exclusively to mums and their children of all ages, it's a lovely opportunity to get outside, enjoy some fresh air and connect with other local mums in a friendly, welcoming environment.

There's no complicated kit list – simply bring a blanket, some food and drinks, and settle in for a laid-back afternoon in the park. Whether you're packing a full picnic or just a few snacks, the focus is on spending time together and enjoying the summer holidays.

This informal gathering is ideal for mums with children of any age, from babies and toddlers through to older children. With plenty of open green space to explore, it's a great chance for little ones to play while mums chat, relax and build new friendships within the local community.
