Tropical World is a hidden gem in Leeds, housed within beautiful greenhouses that contain the UK's largest collection of tropical plants and animals outside of Kew Gardens. The rainforest setting with tropical plants and waterfalls creates a truly immersive experience that feels like a genuine escape, even though you're right in the middle of Yorkshire. It's an intimate, reasonably priced day out that works beautifully for families with younger children, with enough to see and explore to keep most ages entertained for a couple of hours.
