About this place
Bradford's Botanical Gardens are a genuinely lovely spot for a family day out, with plenty to keep kids entertained and some superb views to soak up as you wander around. The gardens are well kept, and there's a little waterfall that makes the whole place feel that bit more special, particularly when the water is flowing well.
It's a great place to bring a picnic and just settle in for a while, and dogs are very welcome too. There are areas where dogs can run off lead, as well as more enclosed spaces if you're working on training, and you'll usually find plenty of other dog owners around, which is handy if your dog needs a bit of socialising.
The gardens have a wheelchair-accessible entrance, so getting around is straightforward for pushchairs and anyone with mobility needs. Whether you're after a peaceful hour to yourself or a full afternoon out with the family, this place works well for both.
