Lister Park is a sprawling Bradford attraction that combines beautiful gardens, cultural facilities and outdoor recreation in one visit. The park features a boating lake where families can rent boats or simply relax by the water with a cafe nearby, plus lovely grounds for picnicking or a casual stroll. The highlight for many is the stunning Mughal-inspired Islamic water gardens, with fountains and features modelled on the gardens of the Taj Mahal, which are particularly peaceful to explore. Cartwright Hall, housed in the park's striking architecture, hosts rotating exhibitions including the Turner Prize.

Younger children will enjoy the playground and paddling areas, whilst older kids and teenagers might prefer the tennis courts, basketball cages or simply cycling around the extensive grounds. The park is open 24 hours and entirely free to access, with ample free parking available.
