About this place
East End Park Playground is a well-kept, free-to-visit green space in the LS9 area of Leeds, open around the clock every day of the week. The park is flat and well-maintained, with proper paths running through it and a variety of interesting areas to wander around, making it a pleasant spot whatever the weather.
The playground itself is gated and separate from the rest of the park, which means dogs can't wander in when the gates are closed. That's a nice touch if you're bringing little ones and want a bit of peace of mind. The wider park has good stretches of grass and is clean and tidy.
The park is wheelchair accessible, and the flat, path-lined layout makes it genuinely easy to get around with a pushchair too. It suits families with young children as well as older kids who just need space to run about.
