Singing, Dance & Drama

SilverLee Stage School sits on the main coastal road in St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex, and takes a genuinely all-round approach to performing arts. Rather than picking just one discipline, students learn to sing, dance and act together, with stage presence woven in throughout. All teaching is done by professional teachers with professional credits, and students regularly get the chance to take part in workshops with West End cast members. Classes are open to a remarkably wide range of ages, from babies right through to seniors.

There are also beginner sessions aimed specifically at adults who simply want to give it a go, so no prior experience is needed to walk through the door. Beyond the weekly timetable, there is plenty to look forward to across the year. Students take part in local musical festivals, youth performance events and West End theatre workshops, as well as the school's own yearly show. This is a place where children genuinely get to perform, not just rehearse.
