WenLin’s Bear Class is a Mandarin Chinese class for toddlers aged 1–3 in Clapham, London, designed for young children to learn together with a parent or carer.
Through Mandarin songs, rhymes, stories, movement, games and hands-on activities, children become familiar with the sounds and rhythms of Chinese, build their first vocabulary and develop confidence in listening and responding.
Bear is more than a toddler activity class. It is the first stage of WenLin’s structured Mandarin pathway, allowing children to progress through preschool, primary and secondary Chinese to GCSE and advanced HSK as they grow.
One parent/carer must stay and actively participate throughout the class, learning and engaging alongside their child. We ask adults to keep phones away and avoid chatting during the session.
