Ballet Classes

Babyballet offers ballet classes for babies and young children aged 6 months to 6 years across central, south and west Leeds. The programme is structured in stages, from Tots for babies aged 6-18 months through to Groovers for children in Reception and Year 1, with a separate tap dancing class for children aged 3 and above. Each class combines music, creative movement and imaginative play to introduce the foundations of ballet at an age-appropriate level. The syllabus is carefully designed to align with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, helping children develop coordination, confidence and a love of movement in a nurturing environment.

Classes are led by trained instructors who create a supportive atmosphere where each child can progress at their own pace. For younger age groups, parents actively participate in the class, while older children are encouraged towards independence. Babyballet also offers Shine classes specifically designed for children with special educational needs and disabilities. A three-week introductory trial is available for £20, allowing families to experience the classes before committing to a full term. Following the trial, membership costs £6.50 per class for most levels, payable in half-term blocks in advance.
