About this event

Discover a different side to Leeds Industrial Museum this summer with Wild Summer at the Mill – a six-week programme of family activities inspired by nature, wildlife and creativity.

As you explore the museum, keep an eye out for felted ladybirds hidden throughout the galleries on a fun family trail, then enjoy self-led craft activities available every day during the holidays.

On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout August, families can also take part in a series of nature-inspired felt and wool workshops, with a different hands-on activity each week. Weather permitting, these sessions take place in the museum's outdoor picnic area, making the most of the summer sunshine.

The activities are inspired by the museum's Untangled exhibition, which celebrates the connections between nature, textiles and industry through colourful felt artworks, giant nests, fungi displays and interactive installations. It's a fantastic way to combine creativity with a visit to one of Leeds' most fascinating museums.
