Celebrate the beauty of nature this summer with a relaxing Flower Pressing Workshop at Thackray Museum of Medicine.
Led by Leeds-based artist Zoë Eady, this drop-in workshop invites families to experiment with flower pressing using locally collected plants and flowers. Discover the colours, textures and shapes of seasonal blooms as you create your own unique botanical artwork to take home.
Along the way, you'll learn simple flower pressing techniques and fill your own nature-inspired sketchbook pages while exploring the fascinating world of plants and creativity.
The workshop forms part of Hocus Crocus, Thackray Museum's summer holiday programme, where creativity and play are used to explore science, medicine and the natural world in fun and engaging ways. Suitable for all ages, it's a lovely activity to enjoy at your own pace during a visit to the museum.
