About this event

Family Board Games is a drop-in session at Leeds City Museum where families can sit down together and play a mix of retro favourites and modern classics. Ann from Cards or Die is on hand to walk you through the rules and get everyone up and running, so no prior knowledge is needed. The session is open to ages 5 and above, which makes it a good fit for a wide range of family set-ups.

The event runs on Thursday 30 July from 1pm to 3pm and is held in the Special Exhibition space on the third floor of the museum. No booking is required, just turn up and pick a game. Entry is on a Give What You Can basis, with a suggested donation of £5.

This session is part of the museum's Step into the Game summer holiday programme, which ties in with an immersive Trivial Pursuit trail running across Leeds city centre. You can also find the official Trivial Pursuit Hub in the central hall of the museum throughout the summer, so there is plenty to keep the family busy while you are there.
