The East and West Ardsley Social Club is hosting a family Easter celebration with a focus on fun activities for children aged 0-16. The event features an Easter Bonnet Competition where kids can show off their creative headwear, plus a disco and games to keep everyone entertained.

The three-hour session runs from 1pm to 4pm in the club's function room, giving families plenty of time to enjoy the festivities without the day feeling rushed. This is a members-only event, so you'll need to join the club beforehand (new membership is £12.50 and renewal is £10). It's a great opportunity to enjoy some Easter fun in a community setting with other local families.

What to bring

A homemade or decorated Easter bonnet to enter the competition (children love a project beforehand)
A change of clothes or at least a top your child doesn't mind getting messy during games
Any Easter decorations, craft supplies or plain bonnets if your child wants to decorate on the day
A small amount of cash for any refreshments or extras the club may offer
A camera or phone if you'd like to capture photos of the Easter bonnets and disco fun

Get your Easter bonnet project done at home before the event rather than rushing on the day. It gives children time to be creative without stress
