Head to Rodley Nature Reserve for this fascinating Moth Trap Opening, where you'll get the chance to see the incredible variety of moths caught overnight before they're safely released back into their natural habitat.

Volunteers will introduce the different species, explain how they live and why they're so important to our environment, giving visitors a rare opportunity to see these beautiful creatures up close and admire their amazing colours and patterns.

This relaxed, family-friendly event is ideal for children with an interest in wildlife, budding nature enthusiasts and anyone looking for a unique outdoor experience.

The event begins at 10:00am near the Visitor Centre and usually lasts around 30 minutes, although the finish time can vary depending on how many moths have been caught.
