Welcome to Jump Start Maths

Give your child the very best start with maths through play, movement and adventure.

Designed for children aged 2–5, our award-winning classes help children develop confidence with early maths long before they start school. Every session is led by qualified teachers and carefully planned around the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), using stories, games, movement and hands-on exploration to make learning exciting.

Suitable for children aged 2–5. Activities are carefully adapted so younger and older children can learn, play and succeed together at their own stage of development.

What happens in a typical session?

Each week we’ll explore a fun new theme while developing important early maths skills, including:

• Number sense and counting

• Shapes, patterns and sorting

• Comparing, measuring and problem solving

• Mathematical vocabulary

• Listening, confidence and communication

Children can expect:

• Interactive maths adventures

• Movement and gross motor games

• Small world, sensory and hands-on activities

• Opportunities to explore, investigate and solve problems

• A fun parachute finale

Learning beyond the class

Our support doesn’t stop when the session ends.

After every class you’ll receive a Parent Postcard with simple ideas to continue the learning at home, helping you see exactly what your child has been exploring and how you can build on it through everyday play.
